Shellard Winter is one of the longer-established building names in Bath and north Somerset. We are privately and locally owned; and undertake new-build residential and commercial projects.

Residentially, we particularly specialise in refurbishment and extension works, along with kitchens and bathrooms.

Commercially, we specialise in internal fitting out and refurbishment.

We have an extensive joinery factory/workshop, in Frome, and can also offer design and planning services.

Equally, we have worked with most architects and engineers in the area and are therefore very familiar with various forms of building contract, partial possession and so forth; and we have appropriate insurance cover. These aspects are particularly important when working within existing buildings - be they Grade 1, Grade 2 or non-listed - and especially when occupants are to remain for at least some of the project if indeed not for the entire project.

The reputation behind the name Shellard Winter, of which we are justly proud, is for construction and production to the highest standard, but always working within set budgets and to a programme pre-agreed with each client. In general terms we offer a comprehensive support service to both private and public clients.

We generally employ our own specialist trades such as masons, carpenters, plumbers and electricians; suitably qualified as befits their respective trades.
